  1. the best thing is a beautiful.... trust me... u will only need one or two to get tipsy..... and no hangover becuae there is no sugar in it.... im a chick and its my drink of choice. have fun

  2. Drink vodka tonic in highball glass.Refreshing and takes time to consume.

  3. Maybe you should not drink, but if you do then maybe a non-alcohol drink, such as Pina Coladas...

  4. You would be doing yourself a major favour drinking water and over rocks it can look like gin & tonic or vodka/rocks. A flute of ginger ale looks like champagne. Perch a wedge of lime on the rim of a glass of cola and it looks like a Cuba Libre.

    Have a good night.

  5. make sure you eat something!!! pace yourself with the drinks. I have switched to just plain old water at parties--everyone assumes the glass in my hand has alcohol in it.

  6. German Purity Law Beer (1st: Beck's, 2nd: St Pauli Girl, ranking based upon availability), it has the most water content of any alcoholic bev.

You get a hangover from being dehydrated because alcoholic bevs use your body's water to rid itself of the alcohol, that's why you pee a lot more when drinking.

If you forget to drink a 12oz glass of water for each glass/shot of alcohol you drink (and you will), beer is best because the water is premixed.

That being said, drink Beck's or St Pauli beer.  They are highly regulated by the German purity standards and don't have a lot of sulfites and artificial ingredients (these also give hangovers).

If you driink hard liquors, the most expensive don't give hangovers for the same reasons, fewer impurities.

PS.  Why are there so many nasty people on Answers who just want to pass judgement on ppl and not give thoughtful answers?  Is the 2 points really worth showing how arrogant and thoughtless they are.

  7. Well, one way to save on getting a hangover, is to drink a non-alcoholic drink slowly between each alcoholic drink.

As for tasty drinks that don't have a whole lot of alcohol...you could try these

  8. The answer the Muse said is right...sounds like if you have one or two drinks and start to feel giddy you then like the feeling and end up drinking too much and having a hangover the next day.  If you really feel you need to have a couple of drinks then have whatever you like but drink something non-alcoholic in between drinks.  The key is to pace yourself and to stop drinking booze when you feel that buzz.   It is the amount of booze you are drinking not the booze itself that is causing the hangover.    Spare yourself the cringing flashbacks and hangover and try either not drinking at all or at the very least in moderation.
