What all can I put in my recycle bin?

My recycling company currently picks up plastics 1-7, so I already know to put those in there. But, what other things can I have them pick up? I already put in aluminum cans (like soup cans) and newspaper. Any other things I can include?

Soda (pop) cans are almost universally accepted, as is glass.

Go to www.earth911.org and enter your ZIP code.  Your recycling service should be listed, as well as a list of approved items.  Or, just call the company directly and ask.

Check with your local garbage company for the exact answer you need. They may even have a website with detailed info like mine does.

It really depends on what your company accepts.  Some will take cardboard, some will take misc paper (not napkins or anything with food on it)  Find out what they also accept.  It might even be written on your bin itself.  Its great that you're doing your part!!! keep it up.

You can put All types of paper except for Toilet paper. You can recycle Toilet rolls and Cardboard too. You can also recycle Cans, Bottles, Containers, scrap metal, batteries, cell phones, and tires too. But some companies have bins for Cell Phones, tires, scrap metal, and batteries too. Good Luck
