Well my personal favorites for food are "Zupreem" and "Innova EVO ferret food".

If you're talking about treats though, only feed whole mice, cooked chicken, or cooked turkey. Ferrets are strictly carnivores and cannot digest fruit and vegetable matter.

I feed our ferrets The Ferret Store™ Superior Choice Original Ferret Diet and Pretty Pets Natural Gold Hi-Pro Lo-Carb Ferret Food mixed together.

Their coats feel good and they are very active even as they are getting older.   They aren't the cheapest food but I have found them to be good quality.

High protein (animal) and high fat content. There's a variety. Some take good ferret food and mix with kitten food. I use 4 different foods mixed together. 8 n 1 ultra (not ultimate); totally ferret; natural gold; and maximum kitten.

Plus you can give them chicken, steak, liver, etc. They are carnivorous. A treat, such as cheerios or n-bones (made for fuzzies) are okay now and then. I mean 1-4 cheerios for a treat, not a dish full.

Probably one of the most complex subjects about ferrets, other than medical issues. A raw diet is the best thing you can feed your ferret. A diet is the thing that will determine whether or not your ferret is healthy and lives a long life or is sickly and dies young.

The best food you can feed is Innova EVO as far as kibble goes.

8 in 1 Ultimate, Wysong Archetype I, Natural Gold, Zupreem, Totally Ferret and a few others make good choices. Marshall food is a popular but terrible choice to feed your ferret.
