There is this butterfly that has attached it self to me and doesn't seem to want to leave, but it is injured. I thought I could put it in a net cage and let it heal but what do I put in there for food and water?

  1. Fresh flowers, clover with flowers, a water dish.  Plenty of flying room that won't touch his wings.  They have a short lifespan.  Don't be devastated when that time comes.  You are showing it your love.  That's the best you can do.  Lots and Lots of flowers, perhaps in a small container with water so they stay fresh.  Try alittle honey in the water.Keep container OUT OF DIRECT LIGHT>  NO DIRECT SUN

  2. THEY CAN ONLY LIVE OFF MILKWEED PLANTS. not any type of plant. you need water and shade. don't put them in sun light because caterpillars will melt. make sure there are plenty of milkweed plants in its cage.
