  1. What's up stick hick?  Dodge man has the correct answer for the most part.  I installed the same lift on my 98 Ram and found that there are a few mods you have to do.  You have to take your 4 wheel drive shifter linkage out, cut it in half and weld in the 3" extension supplied with the kit.  You have to also install an adapter to your steering stem.  The one thing that the instructions don't tell you is when you lift the body up, the steering stem actually rubs the metal brake lines under the hood; quick fix: simply bend them slightly out of the way.  I have a question for you: is your truck a sport model like mine?  I hope not.  If you buy this type of lift, make sure you tell your supplier that is a sport model about 10 times so they will send you the correct front bumper brackets.  I got mine and had to wait on the correct ones.  Me and my bud installed this lift in about 6 hours.  Please don't stop with the 3" body lift though - spend an additional $70 for the front leveling kit from h**l Bent Steel!!  This will raise the front to match the back.

  2. to lift the body you have to increase the length of the steering shaft, plus some wires may have to made longer and anything that worked normal before ,you can forget that part of it,i did one and we had to make the shifter linkage longer, just about everything on the vehicle had to be altered, its a lot easier to do a suspension lift than a body lift, the bolts that hold the body on with should come with a kit though, most kits now include what need to an extent, they will have foot notes in the kit of the things you have to have made longer, its a lot of work ,not no fun either, good luck.

  3. not too much, just have to move some wires a little, and install the kit itself
