What all do i need to get started on the golf team?

knowledge of the rules of golf.   golf shoes, golf clubs gloves   you might be able to rent them  ask the coach for information

You need a basic set of clubs; driver, 3 wood; 3, 5, 7, and 9 iron and putter, a few balls. use any running shoe or athletic shoe to start. Most of all, determination and focus. Golf is more a mind game than equipment. Your coach will give you the rules and the lessons

I play on my high schools varsity golf team. Some kids are just starting out and you can tell! All you need is a set of clubs. I just got my friend started. We searched garage sales and thrift stores for some cheap clubs. Then we hit up the clearence rack for some cheap golf shoes. Golf shoes have flat soles unlike tennis shoes so they help with balance for your golf swing. I helped him out with tees and balls. You can ask your friends for those, or buy the cheapest ones. I would recommend looking for balls in the deep rough because its the cheapest. Also you can get some out of a lake with your clubs. But most of all have fun and practicing will be good and that way you wont be embarrassed playing with your teams number 1

Some clubs and balls, don't go all out on clubs already, get a starter set and see what you like first, no need to spend 700+ dollars on something you won't even know you like. When you are ready for nice clubs, go to a store that allows you to try them out before you buy them. golf shoes are really nice because they keep your feet dry, and that's about it

All you will need to start is some balls and some clubs. Maybe 5,7,9 iron, putter, and wood. Thats all i started off with and a few years on i upgraded. After playing with basic clubs you gain a better knowledge of when and where to use your clubs.
