What all do you know about vestibular disease in rabbits?

My vet said my rabbit looks like she has it. Please help.

  1. Vestibular disease is generally more well known as head tilt because of its head tilting symptoms. This can lead to walking in circles or sideways and can sometimes lead to eye problems because of the angle of their head.

Many times caused by a virus such as pastuerella.  Aggressive antibiotic treatment can help quite a bit.  An experienced rabbit vet should be able to help.  There are also many other causes.  Here is a good link to read over.  Unfortunately, many rabbits are left with a permanent head tilt but they can lead pretty normal lives.
