What all do you need to build your own bushmaster223?

Is it very difficult? I have several guns already, but have wanted a bushmaster for a while. I used to know a guy that built his own but am no longer in contact with him. if anyone knows a site or something that tells you all you'll need or how to, I would appreciate it.

If you live in california you will have to buy an OLL receiver from an FFL dealer.  Once you have that you can order all the parts for your bushmaster from the bushmaster website.  I am in the process of building a california legal ar.  There is a lot of legal issues you should look into before you start.  there are 2 builds that are legal here, a featureless build with a detachable clip, or a fixed clip with all the "evil" features you want.  Check out Calguns.org and AR15.com .  there is a lot of good information there.  

If it is perfectly legal where you live you should be able to have bushmaster ship you the Lower Receiver to an FFL dealer then you can order the rest straight from them.  I have yet to build mine as I am still waiting for my receiver and all my parts are on order.

Difficult? No -- But you should have some mechanical ability..... Go to AR15.com. There is a complete tutorial on how to build these rifles....
