This question has probably been asked before, but how many songs are we suposed to have at the wedding and what are the purposes of each, how long should each be...? Also if you don't mind giving some suggestions that would be greatly appreiated too. Thanks.

  1. The first time I heard "Cinderella" I thought it would be a great song for a father/daughter dance.  For the walk down the aisle with your Dad what about the traditional "Wedding March".  If this is your first wedding, I'm sure your Dad would be thrilled to hear that as he escorts his daughter.  My father is no longer living. I'm using "Canon in D" (also a traditional wedding song)  I found a CD of piano music by the O'Neill brothers at pianobrothers.com with wedding music on it with suggestions for what would be appropriate at different times during the ceremony.  I'm using several selections for it for the pianist to play while guests are arriving and being seated. I'm using Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" for the recessional.
