What alternatives to EBAY are available for selling ?

EBAY are so heavy handed - they create complicated selling rules that are almost impossible to follow and then simply take your ad off at a critical moment no doubt prompted by rival sellers ! So what alternatives could I use ? (Mind you PAYPAL are even worse !!)

  1. well i don not no mate

  2. Google UK online auctions, there's loads of alternative auction sites to ebay, most of them aren't quite as busy though.

Personally I like to spread stock over a few auction sites in the hope of gaining more exposure for my business.

  3. Ebid, ebuyer or amazon spring to mind. If you do a google search for uk auction sites there are loads. Guess its a case of trying a few and seeing which are best. Also sites like play.com have a marketplace section too.

  4. theres ebid or amazon

go to auctionalfie.co.uk itll give some options of auction sites

  5. Yep http://www.sellit-right.com is agood one- saw stuff like Playstation advertised on there.

    Also http://www.amazon.com too.

    Two best I know.

  6. Well, this website here:  http://www.1planet-mart1.com/affiliate/s...  - on which I Advertise has an excellent system to help small businesses and home workers to promote their wares.  It has just been set up but it is set to give advertisers real value for money.  Plus you can even earn just by placing your ad'.  Unlike eBay, they do not keep a percentage of your sales proceeds.
