What am I doing wrong? (read on....)?

I've had most of the people I've dated break up with me because they just lost interest.. I am beginning to think that its me thats the problem. Ive tried online dating and have had men contact me but when I reply I never hear back from them. Is my personality that bad? sheesh. Most men I've dated have decided after about 3 weeks that they just aren't interested in me anymore. (and no, I dont have s*x with them. It isn't about s*x anyways because this happens online as well)

If anyone has any insight/advice/opinions on this I'd really appreciate it.

maybe you just need to open up a little bit. it sounds like you are shy/reserved. keep the conversation interesting, that always helps.

eh, ya just haven't met the right person. you know how to spell so ya couldn't be too bad.

it's hard to say it's you because we don't know anything about you.

when talking to someone, talk about them, ask questions about them, people love talking about themselves. usually they just stop because they don't know how to have conversations either. while some people can keep a one sided conversation going, if someone asks you a question, don't just answer it and leave it, answer it, then ask a question about them, keep the convo focused on them. they won't even notice, and people LOVE talking about themselves, it's disgusting.

Do you have interests to talk about?  Do you say, I don't know, I don't care etc when asked what you want to do?  Do you have opinions?  These things make for interesting people and interesting conversations.

Men are attracted to confident, independent women.

The first sign of whining, complaining or neediness, they will be gone!

Self absorption and "too" available are other turn-offs!

Men like talking about themselves.

They are really not interested in your last boyfriend, your last date, your last meal or your lousy day at work!

It isn't always about s*x,(at first) but it is about sports, current events and great if you are a good cook! s*x can wait!

Only you know you and your personality.

Some men would never wait 3 weeks for s*x! They are thoughtless, when it comes to women!

Others would wait 3 months and longer, for the right person!

Not scaring them away and being  genuinely "interested" and "interesting" at the same time is key!

A fun sense of humour, a pleasant disposition and attitude are also essential along with good hygiene!

Remember, there is someone for everyone!
