Okay, I'm 17 who's going to sophomore year in High school. I think I'm going through a phase. I'm ready to be 18 for young adult to start taking more responsibility and be part of the world. Also, I just want to stay young as a teenager. I kept asking myself will I be ready to be 18? Will I be just fine on my own? What if i'm going to miss the wonderful time before 18? My birthday month is in May so I know I'm way off. So, what am I going through?

  1. Sounds to me like a mid-mid-life crisis =)

Like a "I cant believe I am half way to being half way done with my life" sorta thing.

And the fact that people say tht you teen years are your best doesnt help either.

I am not 18 or 17 yet, but i have seen people who worry like that.

I think it is just a phase, You just have to remember that life will get better, and that everyone becomes part of the world at some point, it just takes a little to get used to =)

    Hope I helped

  2. i think it is called growing up. you are and will for a while still be both of those people. you aren't ready but you really are. have fun don't wory be happy. it is just fine to think ahead a bit. tmm

  3. I don't know what you're going through really, but when you wake up on your 18th birthday, you will feel no different than when you went to sleep the night before. Don't worry about growing up until you move from your parents or graduate, whichever comes first. It's not worth it. Trust me. Have fun being a teenager. High school days never come back, so live in the moment, not in the future.
