I have a two caliper system, and I have cleaned them up and put new pads on them. Now i cant seem to bleed them properly. Reading the owners manual.. im doing it step for step. 1st pumping it and then opening bleed valve 2nd let out handle then tightening valve. I also have checked for blockages and leaks, with no luck. It took in two resevoirs of fluid from the master cylinder. But still no pressure and no more fluid will go in .... ?????

  1. sorry but you pump and hold while releasing bleeder then tighen and pump again... be hard to do my your self it pump hold the brake release bleeder hold brake tighten bleeder then release brake and pump

  2. bike brakes can be hard to bleed..

first job is to make sure your getting a ''full pull'' on the leaver,ie not hitting anything else just the leaver on the grip...somtimes if theres hand gaurds fitted you dont get a full pull.

secondly fill the resivour right up and loosen both nipples[love that word] making sure there not blocked...plenty of rags to catch the old fluid...juet let it drip out on its own for about 30 mins, making sure the resivour DOESNT empty...

next thing is give it one pump, holding it in and tighted both nipples.

once tight work the leaver, quite a few times both slow then fast.watching for bubbles coming from the bottom of the resivour...you have to tickle the air out..

now your start bleeding.....pump leaver 4 times[keeping it in] and open then close both nipples..do this a few times...then consentrate on one brake...pump 4 times, hold in,open and close again...remembering to occationally [when nipples closted] do the slow/fast pumps to tickle out the air...then do the other side...long winded i know but as i said that can be awkward...hope this helps...

    ps,i hate typing lol..
