My friend is a republican and says that Barrack Obama is a terrorist. She also says that if democrats care for the poor and give them money that the average people will become poor. I told her "No, they don't take your money away from you. Not Most of your money. I doubt even half your money" then she said "Well mabey if those stupid poor and homeless people would go to school and get an education and get a job so they are so poor" then i said "well mabey something happen to them when they were a kid and they had to run away because they were being abused" and it came out to a whole arguement. If you were a democrat, what would you say? I want my friend to know the TRUTH, not just what I want her to hear. Just because Barrack Obama is black, does not mean he is a terrorist. Also, can you guys send me PROOF that Barrack Obama did not admit he was a terrorist? Cause I know he couldn't of. Thank you.

  1. You have the true intellect of a Democrat.

  2. Tell her it's spelled maybe.

  3. The problem is that you want the truth and you are in the wrong party.  There is no truth in either the Democrat or Republican parties.  They are both leading down the wrong path.

I don't think Obama is a terrorist but I believe he is a racist.  He has only had 137 day in experience in Congress and that is just not enough to manage a organization that employs 14 million employees (yes 14 million federal employees).  But McCain is no better.  Neither of them have a clue about how to improve the economy and neither does Bush for that matter.

The last president president who understood the econony was Reagan.

I could go on but regardless of which one of the bozos get in the White House we are in for a massive depression, perhaps the end of the United States with the amount of debt Bush and the Congress has built up.

Don't believe in political parties.  Both the Republicans and Democrats are just two side of the same coin.  They are the same party whose goal is to stay in power by playing the US.  They nearly always put up polar opposites and candidates so that you will be forced to vote for the lesser of two evils.  This time both are equally evil.

I am voting for Bob Barr just because he is not a Republicrat.

  4. Barak Obama may not be a terrorist, but there is evidence of him receiving campaign funds from certain Muslim extremist organizations...funds which he claims he returned, but according to the donors, they never got the funds back.

Anyway, solving the problem of the poor. Socialism, which is where the Democrats want to take this country (arguably we're there already...but we're not at the level of most European countries). The way that works is the government taxes the "rich" in order to give it to the poor in various ways, services, what have you. It's hard to become wealthy (for most), and with exorbitant taxes associated with social welfare programs, there would be no incentive to become wealthy. It would be better to give the wealthy the *choice* to give their money to the poor. If you eliminate choice, you are restricting freedom. People do not handle oppression well and will revolt against the system, once a certain point is reached.

A better way to help the poor is this:

    1. Stop illegal immigration. Minimum wage is considered a lot of money for most foreigners. Having millions of immigrants in our country is diluting the workforce, creating a surplus of workers. Free market economics dictate that having more workers means lower wages for everybody.

    2. Put tariffs in place to protect US industry. With tariffs, it will be more expensive for companies to import goods and services. The more cost-effective option will then be getting goods from within the United States. With companies getting their goods from this country, that creates more jobs. With more jobs to go around, wages will rise. Coupled with labor unions, this will create a powerful economy.

Once this is established, there will be more people in the middle class and much fewer people in the lower class (poor). With an enlarged middle class, there will be an increase in funds going to private charities that help the poor. This system, driven by choice, will mean a healthier nation in the long run.

That's how we fix the problem. Forcing people to give up money through taxes will only create problems for people that are forced to pay them.
