Ok. I'm doing at minimum 1 hour of hard lifting 3 days a week, and cardio for at least an hour 3 days a week. NORMALLY i do weight lifting 1 hour 4 days a week. and i do 1 hour of cardio 5 days a week. I weight 306 lbs, and the cardio i do is like, elliptical on level ten, burning like, 960 calories an hour. Plus i only eat at a maximum 2,600 calories, BUT AVERAGE about 2,200-2,400 calories a day....

  1. Great job with the exercise routine.  It sounds like you right on track with that.  Even better than most average people.  As for your calories they might be a little high.  Maybe you could try to do between 2000-2200 for a while and see what happens.  Also where are you getting the calories from?  What I've seen that works best for fat loss and retaining muscle is 1/3 calories from protein, 1/3 from fat, and 1/3 from carbs.  Also try to eat healthy fats like flax seed, nuts, salmon, and then most of the carbs from fruits, veggies, and whole grains.  As for the protein stick to leaner meats like fish and chicken and cut red meats down to a few times per week.  Other wise I think if you keep up a balanced diet with the workout you described the weight will start to fall off,  I wish you the best of luck!

  2. Try lowering your calorie intake. You need to burn more than you take in.

  3. Are you losing inches?  Your fat tissue may be turning to muscle which will cause you to lose inches but not weight.  I also agree with the person who says to lower your caloric intake.  You may also need to seek a personal trainer.

  4. 1. In addition to weighing yourself, measure yourself too. That way, you'll know if you're losing inches which really more important than losing pounds.

    2. How long have you been doing this? Sometimes when people go through a sudden increase in activity, their bodies start storing calories as a defense mechanism against the unexpected stress. It might just take a little time for you to start seeing results, but eventually your body will adjust.

    3. What kinds of foods are you eating? It really isn't just about calories. If you're eating junk or you're fasting for several hours, then your body will not burn calories in a normal and healthy way.

  5. You need to lower your calorie intake.

You should be having 1,500- 2,000,if trying to lose weight.

  6. cut calories to 1800 to 2000. Do more cardio can cut back on the weight lifting a bit.

  7. Don't forget some of your weight might be muscle mass. With all that exercise, you will lose fat, but you'll also gain muscle, and Muscle is much heavier than fat.

  8. I wo9uld lower my cal intake to no more than 2,000

plus muscle weighs more than fat.. so you may just be building muscle rathr than loosen weight ...
