i downloaded firefox since most people agreed that it works a lot better than internet explorer. I didn't like it as much because it made everything look different, my font, my myspace page etc. I like things a certain way. I tried to uninstall it but now when i click on any of the shortcuts that i have on my desktop i have to go thru a list of where i want the site to open from and i have to manually click on internet explorer every single time i try to open something up. why doesn't it open it automatically like it used to before i installed this firefox and how can i get it back to normal again?

  1. On your desktop (or wherever) your shortcuts are located right click on the shortcut, any one, and click properties..

Near the top it has type of file.. right below that you should see

Opens with: and its prolly firefox right now.

Next to that is "change" click that and near the top you should see internet explorer..

At the bottom on this box there is a check box that says use this program for something of the same type.

(If this isn't select it i would do so.. every shortcut will use IE then)

Then click apply.. then ok.. and your set!

    Good luck!
