Why don't you show her the books and have her choose her favorite? Ask her! My 3 daughters each wanted a different one - oldest loved Felicity, middle daughter loved Josephina and youngest loved Molly. They are all really interesting - kind of depends on who your daughter thinks is prettiest and which time period she's interested in.

The new ones that look like any girl (you choose hair and eye color, etc...) are really neat too!

ARGH! I hate dolls they are evil creatures I've never liked the horrible things and clowns either, blah! However if she likes dolls erm a barbie or something (despise them too)...

I loved Felicity! I had her growing up and my sisters had some of the other dolls.  I also liked Kirsten.

and was never a fan of Samantha...she seemed s****.!

My favorite was always Felicity. I plan on buying one for my daughter this Christmas and will be getting the one that looks like her. I think it has more clothes options and stuff, but if you want to buy her one from a historical era, the stories are really interesting and teach your child about the time period. I like Felicity because of her free spirit.

probably buy her a barbie doll,especially the kimora simmons type. I love kimora especially the way she treats her kids,kimora simmons barbie is the best!
