  1. The Electric company charges by kilowatt hours.  The charge is determined by location.  Exactly what the charge per kilowatt is determined by local, federal, and state agencies.  Contact your local Electrical provider.


  2. It should be the same to reflect market prices.  Too often, however, farmers are subsidized resulting in hidden taxes the general population has to pay for.
