  1. when choising an amp for you sub it should be match for match.

    ie 300w sub = 300w amp

    400w amp = 400 w sub

    2000w sub needs 2000w amp

unless you run it in bridged mode

only workes on a 2 or more channel amp.

ie a 1000w amp that has 2 channels runs at 1000w per chanel = 2000w so you could bridge th sub to get your 2000w

to bridge yo have the + on one chanle and the - on the other connected to the sub

  2. If it could be such easy... Speaker manufacturers are not fair and this mean that you don't know what are you buing really. I repeat this here very often. There is not high  posibility to have any 2000W RMS speaker. Maybe MTX jackhammer can handle this, but "it can handle" doesn't mean "it will play loud". If I could help you, try to write, what brand and type of speaker is it, it will help a bit. I guess you will not need more than good 1000W amplyfier (maybe more expensive than 2000W sh*t one).

  3. if we new the make of the sub that would help. an alphasonik  600 would be about right its a mono amp so no need to bridge it. also just because it says its 2000rms does not meen it is most subs that handel that kind of power are dual 2 ohm. list the name and maybe i can help more
