  1. get a power acoustic 1800 had 900 watts rms and its about 400 dollars  good performance and longevity. for not a ton of money

  2. By guessing these are dual 4 ohm...

    MTX 1501d or ta81001

    MA Audio hk2000d

    Kicker zx1500.1

Kicker sx1250.1 (UNDERrated, but you have to know how to set digital)

    Hifonics bxi2608/2606 (OVERrated)

    Orion 2500d (Overrated, not prefered)

..and spare yourself of the Power Accoustik. Overrated, mid-poor sound quality, and cheaply made/questionable for ~longevity~.

All of these are considered by running in a 1 ohm load.

**I guess obviously INKTOWN wasn't paying attention when you said you wanted an amp for TWO of them, and idk why he's trying to give you a 2 ohm stable amp. And who knows what the h**l he's talking about underpowering them can cause more damage than anything. I'm sure I don't even have to explain that one! If underpowering them caused more damage, everyone would damage their subs when played at low volumes! Clipping harms subs, but not simply underpowering.**

  3. its a 4ohm DVC sub, so depending on the wiring you can get impedance's of 2 or 8ohms at the amp

the lower the final impedance at the amp the easier/cheaper it is to power but the lower the sound quality

so you need an amp with about 1000watts RMS @ 2ohms (8ohms would cost an arm and a leg) and is also CEA-complaint which means that it has been tested and produces or exceeds the advertised RMS wattage with minimum distortion (distortion is the main cause of speaker damage)

If you send too much power to your sub, you risk damaging it. The cone of the speaker and the mechanical parts that make it move may break under the stress. Surprisingly, too little power can also damage your subwoofer — in fact, it's actually more common than damage caused by overpowering.

Even the toughest sub, however, can be damaged by excessive distortion from a clipped signal.

When the volume is turned up and the amp doesn't have enough power, the signal becomes distorted, or "clipped." This distorted signal can cause parts of the speaker to overheat, warp and melt. Not good!

You don't have to match speaker and amp wattages exactly. An amp with a higher output than the speaker's rating won't necessarily damage the speaker — just turn the amp down a bit if you hear distortion from the sub and don't run the speaker at extremely loud volumes for lengthy periods. Likewise, you'll be OK with a lower powered amp if you keep the volume down and don't feed a distorted signal to the sub.

    here are the CEA-complaint brands

    Bazooka

    Blaupunkt
