What amp shouldi get??

Question

I have a panasonic cq-c7301u HU and it give off 50x4 watts. i have 4 new alpine speakers and the front speaker have a rms of 80 and the rear shelf gives off 50 rms average of course. how powerful of amp should i get if i need one? and how many channel, ohms...etc i don't know anything about amplifiers, I just want my speakers to perform well and nice and loud with good quality.

it really doesnt matter if you stay with Alpine or not but they do make a good product so it wouldnt be a bad choice. a good 4 channel that is about 60 watts RMS by 4 channels at 4 OHM should be just fine.

Ya you don't want to get something that is too powerful for your speakers because at high volumes they will distort and blow or deteriorate faster.
