What amp to power my kicker solobaric 12" sub? i have a RF 400.2 amp powerin it now, and the sub barely moves

i have it wired for a 4 ohm load.

  2. We are under the assumption you have the amp wired bridged mono, hopefully.  (L+ / R-)

    Sub should at least move decently.  If you have an L5, you're powering at 2/3 RMS.  If it's an L7, you're powering it at about 53% RMS.  Both are acceptable ranges.  If you have it wired bridged mono, something else is not right.

  3. is it a l7 or a l5, theres a differnce of 150 w rms, the l5 is 600w and the l7 is 750w. find an amp that has as close as possible rms ratting to match the speaker.
