What amp will power 2 JL 10W7's ?

Question

I have two JL AUDIO 10W7's. I'm looking for an amplifier to power them but due to the power hungry 750 watt RMS per sub I was thinking I want to only have one amp powering them. Anyone have any answers?

The sad part about this answer is that a JL w7 subwoofer only sounds its best with a JL audio amplifier. You can't run a 13w7 without the 1000/1, so if you have the money I recommend getting two JL Audio G-MAX amps that power each subwoofer with ease. The subs only rate at 500w RMS, but these can be powered up to twice as much and still never die out. If you get a JL audio 1000/1 amplifier and run both on it that will sound impressive also. i would reccomend the jl audio 1000/1 cause of the same brand and its pure power rms should slap those 10w7's all day without a problem...if amps don't matter i suggested you grab your-self a zapco and i you lucky enough to find the old school studio 500 or ag1000 you are completely done for comps......

In general I would recommend a JL 1000/1. I run that set up alot at the shop.

The amp is on the larger side but has a ton of power and lots of attack. The RIPS circuit JL uses in this amp is extremely beneficial as it makes sure that the amp is out putting its rated power over a wide range of voltage. In a vehicle it is not uncommon for the voltage to drop severely under load and the RIPS system will make sure the amp is holding up it's end.
