What amp would be best?

alright, i am going to run 4 alpine type r 12 dual coil 4 ohms. i am planning on running 2 amps...what amps would power these nicely, im looking to spend no more than 300 on each amp if possible, and how should i wire them all together?? any help would be very greatly appreciated!!

I would go with 2 rockford P1000.1bd's.  U can find them new for about $300 on ebay.  They are originally $600 because its a quality amp, not some knock off brand that exaggerates their numbers.   Wire them in parallel for a 1 ohm load on each amp.  That amp is small, efficient, and can RMS 1000 watts easily.

Each Type R Is 500 Rms A Piece So You Will Need A Amp With A Total Of 2000 Rms @ 2Ohms Nothing More Nothing Less Than 1500. Luckly You Only Need One Amp. It Has 2600 Rms @ 1Ohm More Than What You Need & 1700 Rms @ 2Ohms. i recently bought this amp and hooked two kickers l7 08 at 2 ohms and even though they aren't getting the whole 1000 watts rms each they still hit hard. i turn on car alarms from blocks away. i definitely recommend this. keep in mind that you will need a good alternator and battery for this beast.
