What and how do you play fantasy football?

my straight friend is inviting me to play fantasy football this weekend with a bunch of his buddies, but i DONT HAVE any idea what the heck fantasy football is!! i dont even know how the real sport works! so can anyone give me some quick pointers....i couldn't say no cause its his birthday....so, help.

fantasy football is simply picking a team of 11 real footballers from a list of all teams, and they become 'your' team.

when they play in real life, they pick up points if they play well, score, etc. and they lose points if they play badly, get sent off, etc.

at the end of the season, the team with the most points wins!

so pick good players! if you don't know anything about football... just pick players from the best teams (man utd, chelsea, arsenal, liverpool).
