im not sure how they are now but i know the op shops in annerley were pretty good

CashConverters , there's one in Indooroopilly and another in Chinatown.

Great places to go for electronics stuff and cds.

Weights and such.

Sometimes you can even find strange rare things over there. imagine a diving suit!

Have a look around the Kingston and Woodridge areas, you'll find some good prices in those second hand shops, some are a bit scruffy looking though.

There's a Red Cross 2nd hand shop in the Runcorn shopping centre that's nice.
