What and where are the seven deadly sins?

okay so me and a nefew got in this heated discussion 2 weeks ago iam pagan but i was raised a strict christian and i specifically remember learning the seven deadly sins where were they at in the bible by the way i support anyones beliefs so dont you dare use this as an oppertunitie to bible beat me!

  1. The list of 7DS doesn't appear in the Bible. The 7DS were first identified by St. John Cassian (360 - 435) and refined by Pope St. Gregory the Great (540 - 604).

    Some people say they can all be found in Matthew's Gospel (chapters 5 through 7), but they are not in a simple list there.

    Actually the "seven deadly sins" are not spelled out in the Bible. They were spoken about as behaviors that lead to real sinning or that causes one to sin. Those behaviors are:

    Greed

    Lust  



    Anger  

      

    Pride  

      

    Sloth

      

    Envy

      

    Gluttony
