What and where do you recycle?

I just want to learn to live green and I need some recycling tips. From what can you recycle to where do you recycle? Also, anyone else from the Johnson City, TN area, where do you recycle?

In New York,  recycling is required. It is one day a week out of the two "garbage days" we have. I prefer whatever can be reused. I recycle glass, plastic, metal, and paper. Recycling is curbside where I live.

you can sell some scrapsof metal,people will buy them for other things or you can also just recycle paper you can use it for packing and other stuff,trust me you will feel green
