In Laurel, Maryland (30 miles outside of Baltimore), regular gasoline (at an Exxon/Mobil station) is currently $3.53 per gallon.  Really nice to see it drop from the over $4 per gallon prices of a few weeks ago.  

Because I use an Exxon/Mobil credit card, I get a 3% rebate, so it's really costing me $3.42 per gallon.  I pay my credit card balance off in full every month, so that's my true cost.

      Washington and Broadway, Minneapolis, Minnesota. 1957 the Union Gas station during a gas war it dropped to nine (.09 cents a gallon)

In Oklahoma, the town that I live in it is $3.25 now. So nice to see lower gas prices again. Yes I know this is not low but it is lower than it has been.

I believe it was 3.59 today in Minnesota.  I remember when I was in high school, my uncle ran a gas station, and the normal price he charged then was 27.9 cents a gallon!!  That was in the early 1970's. I wish those days were back!

.09 cents when I "pumped" gas - actually from a gravity flow "pump" back in about 1940.  Yellow gas was regular and red was Ethyl.

Here in appalachia ohio ,where i live its 3.64 ah gallon and if you use the marathon card its under 3.50 ,  what i don,t understand is , crude oil has dropped around 25% and when gas was $4 ah gallon and now , imight be wrong , but shouldn,t gas also drop 25% , or  , that should put gas at $3  ah gallon ,  in the 60s i remember puttin 50 cents worth of gas in my car and crusin around town quite ah lot , rarely put $1 unless we was goin out of town , gas was 25 cents or so back then ,
