  1. Ordinary unleaded petrol from your servo.

  2. If it takes bio - diesel degradable fuel, you can purchase it very cheap in a small town called, "Bellingham Washington."  Call directory... and ask for "Bellingham, WA. , then ask for 'Diego's Restaurant'. "   They are the donors to the oil that helps produce the gasoline for that particular kind of fuel.  They will point you in the right direction.

    Good Luck.

  3. regular plain old gas.

    from the station.

personally i use chevron, or shell.

many years ago, my mechanic said he liked them better.

    that's good enough for me.

for a while i used costco gas, but i think my mileage went down.

so now i'm back to chevron.

as to how much it'll cost --- my crystal ball isn't working at the moment.

if it clears, i'll let you know.

but, hey, gas went down this morning.

only $4.50 a gallon now, and i filled my tank.

don't that just brighten your day.

  4. Hybrids use regular gas just like any other car.  They just use it more efficiently.

You get it at any gas station.  Right now the average price in the US is about $4.10 per gallon.

  5. I go to a gas station.  My Camry Hybrid runs on regular unleaded.  Luckily, I get an average of 40+ per tank, so I only have to do it once per month.  Gas is 4.25 a gallon here, so I pay about $70 to go about 550 miles.

The hybrid is simply an electric boost and second engine.  It runs on electricity when it is 'warmed up' below 42 miles per hour, so in town, if I accelerate smoothly, I get unbelievable gas mileage because the gas engine is rarely used.

On the highway (or anywhere above 42 mph), you typically accelerate on gas, but once you get to a cruise, the electic motor will 'assist' the gas motor making the gas motor work less hard and giving it better gas mileage.

If I go the posted speed limit, I of course get better mileage than when I go a little faster.

    55 - 50-55 mpg

    60 - 45-50 mpg

    65 - 35-40 mpg

    70 - 30-35 mpg

Assume flat roads for all speeds, which are all posted highway speeds in my state.

I love my car, and the mileage it gets.  I bought just before the first tax drop, so I received a 3200 rebate on my taxes, which was more than the difference between my hybrid and a comparably priced 'normal' Camry.

  6. Well if I had a Camry I'd just pi** in the gas tank that be seen driving one of them. Wouldn't cost much for that. Do they have a man version of that car?
