  1. You mean intentionally?  I'm not sure.

    But it turns out that ferrets are the leading animal cause of death in humans; but only because they trip us up, not because they attack us.


  2. I don't have the stats on this, but I would guess that the answer is  dogs (if we're talking about direct killing). The number of humans killed by any animal is pretty low, so it wouldn't take much to top the list. And there are a handful of deaths due to dog attacks each year.

  3. Direct: Humans cause more human death than any other animal.

    Indirect (disease, etc..): Fleas, mosquitos, ticks.  The answer above in relation to rats spreading disease is false.  Rats often cary fleas on them, of which the fleas spread disease.  This is how the Bubonic Plague (Black plague) was spread.
