I heard it was unborn calf, and if it is, how is that done? Do they abort the pregnancy for the cow?

  1. A calf, 1 to 3 months old, as the others have said.

Also, true veal is from a calf that has been only milk or formula fed.

  2. Don't listen to foolish stories

  3. veal is nothing more then very young beef. it comes from a calf

  4. it is cafe. (baby cow) lol

  5. NO, not an abortion that might be humane. It is a Calf, under the age of 3 months.

When the calf is born it is put in a pen that 100% restricts it's movement,,even lying down is not permitted & it only feed milk. aka: "Milk Fed Veal". This makes sure there is  NO "muscle" so the meat is of the "Veal" texture.

  6. Calf.. days or weeks old.. before the meat toughens.  If it is treated humanely before it is killed, I have no problem with veal.

  7. It's a calf that's fed a certain diet.  The calf is born first.

  8. It's a cute baby cow, raised in a pen so small it can't move, so the meat will be nice and tender when you eat the little cutie!

  9. It's a calf. Not unborn.
