What animal makes 3 clicks at night?

Every night I hear screeching clicking noises, usually in 3s? What animal is this? There seems to be more then one of them.

This could be one of two things.  Bats make a "clicking" noise so they can move about without hitting anything.  Bats are naturally blind and have to use ecolocation to avoid crashing into things.  Thus resulting in a "clicking" noise.

The other thing it could be is a cricket.  Maybe its a coincidence that its clicking in 3's but they all have unique clicking noises so maybe thats what you're hearing.
