  6. < Full time animal lover. I'd even try to preserve a mosquito if I see it and let it back outside instead of just squishing it under a newspaper.

I actually did preserve some mosquito larvae like a year ago and watched them develope into fully grown insects. They didn't require any  food. A mosquito's life cycle is  pretty quick too. They hardly need any food through the whole stage  as a  larvae. I just released the mosquitos after my experiment was done.

Many animals that are dangerous or are not very pleasant to look at, wouldn't be feared as much if people left them alone.

They have been here way before us, and we  should respect some of these guys. Crocodiles or  any kind of animal that is  large and strong enough to kill you would not normally just find you  to kill you. Snakes may be aggressive for each different kind of species. Sure there's man eaters but those  are only the really large  anacondas and reticulated pythons of the other countries around the worlds. Even those aren't real man eaters. It's really more of a legend than the truth.

The real animal to be  scared of is humans. The animal population was much more diverse. Even in the 16th centurary. Take the Thylacine for example. Just because they raided  farms, these animals were put to extinction. Why did they raid farms? Because their land that they used to hunt and thrive on was taken from them by humans. As long as you keep away from poisonus snakes, spiders and scorpions you'd be fine. If they don't get into your house, leave the animals alone. We have to  respect many animals were here before us besides  the domestic kinds that we bred from the natural ones. Many of these  animals that are endangered could be lost within our life times. Especially the whole tiger species. All seven tiger subspecies that are still around will be lost to human falts. It's really other animals that helped to build us on the evolutionary scale to what we are today.

Although, I am afraid of a couple of things that may happen to us. Possibley crossing the path of a "rogue" black hole. The death is a little depressing to think of. The black hole, well it's omnivorous. It consumes everything in its path including light and even other black holes. I'm also fearing  a nuclear war that may  come up later in my future lifetime. I heard 2012 was suppossedly going to be the apocolypse or just the end of the world as we know it. I'm not entirely sure if it's true or not. I  heard fro msome people that it's just  a  big  scam to make money because these people would make survival kits for it and other things that they would sell to other people. I also heard that it could be true and there may be another depressing mass extinction on earth. I heard though, that a mass extinction doesn't occur so suddenly in that period of time. This era we live in now is  less than the required  time limit for a mass extinction acording to other scientists' calculations of  each mass extinction event. Could it be possible 2012 could be a virus or desease that will wipe our species out? Or maybe  a "rogue" black hole crosses paths with our solar sysytem? Hopefully 2012 won't happen as the end of the world  and our world could live without any other disruptions. Humans are already enough destruction to our planet. Why do we need more?

Bumble bees. Ugh, the fur, the buzz, the black, the sting!

  20. men

  21. Anything with more than four legs and worms and maggots.  Although they're not in the Animal Kingdom...most people count them as animals so yeah i'm afraid of insects, arachnids, and different species of worms.  I also found out I'm afraid of crustaceans (crabs and lobsters).

  22. everything

  23. There are only a few things that I am afraid of and that is, ticks, mosquitos and HIV/AIDS.

  24. I'm scared of badgers, foxes, bulls, pigs, wild horses, rams and swans.

When seen caged up in a zoo or animalarium, most of the above are lovely pleasant creatures.  But the same can't be said when you're caught in the middle of nowhere on a night when there is no moon and you have no idea how to get back to the car as you're descending down a mountain!

Believe me - I've been there and it is no walk in the park!  Most animals attack when threatened and just tripping over one because you didn't see it could be seen as a threat to the animal involved.  Badgers can be particularly aggressive when provoked.  Foxes look cute but I wouldn't even trust one if I was alone in a field with it.

Then there are swans - I have heard of people who have ended up paralysed because of swans.  They're beautiful, tame birds you'd think - protected as well.  But I wouldn't get too close to them.

In fact one should pay respect to just about any wild animal if it's loose and not under control - even grey squirrels, rats and sea-gulls.

Beware - it's a dangerous place out there!

  25. MY SISTER

  26. All spiders, big or small.

Flys, wasps, bees, millipedes, centipedes, cattipillars...basically all insects except from ladybirds.

Wild birds. Pet birds are fine, i had a pet parrot, just nothing that can harm me. (Big birds, not robins bluetits, sparrows etc).

Snakes, not all, just the really venomous ones. My friend has a pet python with his teeth removed called fluffy who i love :D

Crocodiles and alligators i guess, although ive never seen one upclose.

And some dogs such as bulldogs and pit bulls and staffys. (the ones that are known to give horrendus bites). Ive got a little shih-tzu dog and im fine with him :)

Ive made myself sound petrified of everything. I'm not.the main thing is spiders. I cant handle them, The rest if i had to i could deal with, but spiders, if theres one in the house im out the door until it is crushed and flushed down the toilet.
