  1. The EPA has this website (below) where you can search for endangered species. There are many native grasslands in the world. You didn't mention where you are. This is a site that pertains to America.

    If you are talking about Canada or somewhere else, go to Google.com and just type "endangered species of grasslands___" and your country.


  2. I am more concerned with the eminent destruction of forested areas and waterways. These ultimately effect the future of all living things. Decreasing the number of trees for land development/housing sub-divisions leaves people without a windbreak and susceptible to airborne objects. As far as wildlife goes, entire species can be erased with the loss of habitat(s). By allowing our lakes and rivers to become polluted every form of life is endangered by possible poisoning. So instead of concern for the destruction of grasslands alone, it is a better pursuit to concern yourself with "The Bigger Picture". All ecosystems are quite fragile, but some are more essential than others.
