What anime movie should i get my boyfriend for his birthday??

I want to get my boyfriend (30) an anime movie for his birthday but I have no clue what to get. From research I'm leaning towards "Ghost in the Shell" (he has never seen these) but there seem to be so many versions and "Ghost in the shell 2-Innocence" seems more interesting to me. Is one movie better than the other, and do you HAVE to see the 1st one to understand the 2nd one?? Please give you opinion about this movie...

Also I know he enjoyed the Death Note (anime) series and has them all...are there any other ANIME MOVIES that you would suggest that are along those lines??? please help!!!!

Personally I like Naruto.

Its quite a big series and currently has 4 movies ( Three in English )

If you get him Naruto, just make sure its in English.

Bleach is also very good.

there's one called 'r.o.d' very funny has 3 30minute long episodes.you can get it in zavvy or buy it on amazon.co.uk

another one called 'x' full of action & very good :D

my favs is afro samurai very violent but verry good.

death note fan should like it i think, protagonists are similar and code geass is awasome at all, if u decide for this remember that there's 2 seasons so u must get first one..
