What annoys you the most about other drivers and their driving habits?

It annoys me when people brake to about 5 mph, don't turn on their blinker, and then make a right turn right in the middle of the slow lane when there is more than enough room to move out of the lane. Also, how about teenagers who text message while driving?

OK well i am not a teen and I text while driving but I'm good at both. I hat when drivers drive 5 mph for no reason at all then we you try and pass them they speed up. Or when you  are trying to merge and a driver knows it and when u speed us so do they so you slow down and they do to. Like make up your d**n mind.

What annoys me about other drivers is listening to them complain about what annoys them about other drivers. Shut up and drive. If you can't handle your commute without whining, take the bus. Seriously. It's time for you to put on your big boy underwear. Life is not the picnic you were promised in kindergarten.

People that don't use signals or the proper driving lane. I don't know why people that want to go slower than the speed limit think that the left lane is their own personal cruising lane. I also hate when people are merging onto the expressway and a semi gets into the middle lane to let them in. Then they get in the semi's way of getting back into the right lane and everyone in the left lane starts passing on the right, so this semi is stuck in the wrong lane and all the people behind the semi have to suffer.

If I want to drive 35 in a 30 zone, its my choice and you better do me the courtesy of letting me overtake safely at an opportune moment, rather than speeding up temporarily or driving wide just to hold up my progress.  

You are not a cop.  You are not elected to make laws or enforce them.  And the next time you do, I'll be stepping out of my car and putting you on your a55.

Not moving over. There seems to be this new trend of slower vehicles who refuse to get past another vehicle, running beside them. They seem to want to push other vehicles around, by keeping them trapper behind theirs. Or the ones who run the outside and middle lane, well below the flow of traffic, causing backups behind then. I believe these people forget, that slower traffic is to keep to the right, not hindering the flow of traffic. That they can actually be ticketed for this, even if they are doing the speed limit exactly. This is actually one of the worst driving habit (second to lack of attention), proved by the Insurance Institute, FMSA. Some states are very big about ticketing for this behavior, while others are very lax about it.

People who tailgate me or abruptly cut me off without putting on their blinkers and violate my proper following distance.  Also, people who drive while talking on their cell phone and weave in and out of their lanes.

Another one:  People who wait till the last minute until I'm very close to them to pull out in front of me.  Unfortunately where I live, the majority are idiot drivers.

jfsoren what fast lane? There is NO fast lane. All lanes require the same speed which is whatever the speed limit is on that particular highway. The left lane is for passing only. You are not supposed to be driving in that lane for any length of time. If you don't believe me check with DMV.

I hate tailgaters. What retards! I wonder what they do when the person in front of them abruptly stops? There is not enough time to stop when you're riding on top of a bumper. Idiots. I go slower when someone is on top of me.

1) Slow drivers in the fast lane, who refuse to yield the lane  to cars behind them.

2) ANY activity that takes away from the safe operation of a motor vehicle!  Text messaging is bad, but  I have seen drivers with newspapers or maps spread out over the steering wheel while driving at 65 MPH on the freeway!  

3) Failure to signal for turns!

4) IDIOTS who drive with one foot resting on the brake pedal!!! You never know if the driver is slowing down or just resting his foot.

5) Failure to merge with traffic when entering a freeway.  It's called an acceleration lane, DUMMY!  I really HATE the fools who come to a complete stop at the end of the freeway on-ramp.

Amen to everything you said, in addition to people on the interstate who can't drive a constant speed.  Use cruise control!!  It's so irritating to be driving down the highway at 70 mph, and pass a car, only to have them pass again a minute later, and all along you're driving a set speed.  Maybe it's just me, but it's annoying.

I hate when I look in my rear view mirror and the person behind me is looking at everything other than the road, and then when we come to a stop I see them jump and slam on their brakes to avoid hitting me.

Or how about when people don't really know where they are going so they drive about 15mph in a 45 mph zone while changing lanes and trying to figure out where they're going?  

and my personal favorite...

When two lanes are turning but the person in the other lane somehow isn't aware of that and they turn into my lane forcing me to slam on my brakes and hope they don't hit me because they are too ignorant to look in their mirror. People do this to at least once a week while I'm driving to work.
