too much focus on personal issues of candidates like Obamas fall out with his minister, Palins pregnant teen daughter and Mccain not knowing how many homes he owns. The whole thing seems very immature junior highish. The election needs to focus on serious issues like Iraq, healthcare, education etc not gossip.

People are following the gossip more than the facts, and the media is not only supporting it, but encouraging it.
