What do companies like to hear when they ask how much Money are you asking for an hour or annually. what do you say so your not asking for to much or to little.

  1. You know, it's hard to give advice about interviews, because I've discovered different people like different things.  Some interviewers might like a clever joke, like, "What was the high end of what you were thinking of paying me?"  And others might what a low bid.


  2. First off everyone knows when you are asked for your salary everyone adds about 5 to 10K to what they make.  If you are asked for your salary requirements give a range that way you do not tie yourself down to a set salary.  If the salary is lower than what you expected you can try and negotiate higher but if the job is one that you really wanted and there is room for growth and developing yourself you may want to consider it.
