  1. I dont know about the + and - part of the blood, but here are the geno types for the  A, B etc...

    A can be AA or AO(same as OA)

    B can be BB or BO

    AB must be AB

    O must be OO

  2. AA-, AA+,AO-, AO+

    BB-, BB+, BO-, BO+

    AB-, AB+

    OO-,OO+

  3. For a start I would like to emphasize that we are dealing here with two blood groups- the ABO and Rh blood groups so to speak.

    For A+ and A-, the possible genotypes are AA and AO only (this is true to both Rh+ and Rh-).

    For B+ and B-, possible genotypes are BB and BO (once again the genotypes could be either + or -).

    For AB+ and AB-, AB only (either + or -).

    For O, only OO is possible(either + or -).

    In essence the two blood groups are different groups. They come in handy during blood transfusion wherein the donor as well as the recipient must share the same blood type otherwise the consequences may be severe (allergy and even death). There are other blood groups that are not that famous so to speak. Among this are the MN blood group, Lutheran blood group to name a few.

    Another thing the + or - after the blood type signify if the person is Rh+ or Rh-. This is of great medical importance.

  4. A+: AA++  AO++ AA+-  AO+-

    A-:  AA--  AO--

    B+:  BB++  BO++  BB+-  BO+-

    B-:  BB-- BO--

    AB+:  AB++ AB+-

    AB-:  AB--

    O+: OO++  OO+-

    O-:  OO--

    Two copies of the ABO gene each, two copies of the Rh (+/-) gene each.  A and B are codominant over O.  + is dominant over -.  This means that any dominant group might be a carrier of the recessive gene (like A- can be AO-- or AA--).
