House was built in 1925. Two story. Exterior is stucco with slightly peaked horizontal beaming and vertical beaming in the gables. Roof is steeply sloped. Interior is very simple with three main rooms on the first floor with a living room open to a dining room, and a large functional kitchen. Open stairway. Upper story is one large (always) and two smaller bedrooms plus a bath situated around a small central hall. Interior woodwork is darker stained oak (though the doors and most trim are painted), simple, and functional. Central fireplace on first floor.

Here is an image of the house.

  1. It resembles an English Tudor style, but not quite the same.

Gables should be steeper in slope and crossed. The exterior of the english country houses are brick with heavy timber beams, the chimneys are very large. What you show is a modern interpretation of the Tudor Style. You may find some houses with stucco rather than brick.

  2. It's painted and trimmed to look like a tudor, but it's called a 4 square.  We had pretty much this same house, built around the same time period.  The difference was that our did not have the off-set front roof peak.  The peak was centered above the front door, and there was a dormer for the attic.  The interior was exactly as you described.

  3. I think its a bungalow.. I looked up pictures and it looks the same.. Google up 1925 bungalow.. you'll find similar pictures.

  4. tudor

  5. With the steep gables it looks a little "country french".

  6. House.

  7. traditional with a twist of craftsman.
