What are 2 good things about Stewart going to/owning Haas?

Back in a chevrolet and bringing a well deserving underfunded team into prominence.

1) It gives Haas some credibility.  I mean, I hate to say it, but I don't find Johnny Sauter and Tony Raines to be great talent.  Scott Riggs shows moments of brilliance, but they're fleeting.

2) Tony Stewart gets to get back behind the wheel of a Chevrolet.  I'm not bashing Toyota; I'm just stating the fact that Tony is a Chevrolet fan.

I can name one bad thing:  It gives the Hendrick sphere of influence at least 5 of the best drivers in the game (Gordon, Johnson, Earnhardt, Martin, Stewart, and most likely Newman).  That's way too much stacking the deck IMO.

From Stewart's point of view

1 - He has the power to control his own destiny

2 - Racing a Chevy

He will have some say so in what he wants and he is back in a chevy which is what he wanted

2. If he doesn't like racing for himself, being the majority owner he can just rewrite his contract and race for someone else. I'm sure someone would be interested in him.

1. Out of Toyota and back to Chevy will make Tony happier and comfortable once again, he is not himself in the Toyota's

2. Hot headed Smoke will be a little more even keeled when it comes to the wrecking of the automobiles since he is the one paying for them now.  LOL!

He will be coming back to Chevrolet and they still support him in his dirt racing efforts.  The other good thing, for him, is that they will continue to get the engines and chassis from Hendrick Motorsports.  This means that he will have access to some of the best cars in NASCAR.
