  1. Protons (positively charged)

    Electrons (negatively charged)

    Neutrons (neutral)

  2. The three main subatomic particles found in atoms are positively charged protons, neutral neutrons and negatively charged electrons. Protons an neutrons are made up out of quarks. which clump together in groups of three to form the protons or neutrons. A proton is made up of two "up quarks" and one "down quark", yielding a net charge of +1, while a neutron contains one "up quark" and two "down quarks", yielding a net charge of 0.

So there you are - three different sets of three.............

  3.   Protons,neutrons,electrons and  quarks.
