What are 3 reasons as to why replacing the regular batteries we use today with fruit batteries (actual fruit being plugged in by wires/clips) is not a good idea? I know that fruit batteries save energy, but why is it so ineffective?

  1. fruit & vegetable batteries are only efficient on april first each year, I have my cell phone plugged into a kumquat today . the rest of the year dung batteries work better. you know where you can put your electrodes pal.


  2. People find it hard to remember if you're supposed to connect your fruit in parallel or series.

  3. it only lasts until the sugars are used up, and rotten fruit smells

  4. I think I would be considered "A Fruit Bat" for doing so
