  1. Broken ribs (Patient)

    Spreading of diseases when membranes of the mouth and nose are that close together; and possibly if blood is coming out of a wound somewhere as well (both Patient and Rescuer)

    Whatever took out the patient may still be present to hurt the rescuer.  As examples, a terrorist attack in which a chemical was used to poison the air; if invisible the rescuer may not realize its still there and be hurt as well.  Or if the patient was in a car accident and is on the road; a car that is still moving and not paying attention to what is in front may hit the rescuer or the patient.  (both Patient and Rescuer).
