    Bipeadlism and upright posture

    Brain size

    Opposable thumbs

    Height

    Less body hair

Menstrual cycle instead of estrus cycle

    Smaller teeth

    Advanced culture

  3. Mother Theresa, Ronald Reagan, and Abraham LIncoln

(Abe & I share the same birthday.)

  4. I think most of the folks anssering have not understood your question.

I say the three most significant things about Homo Sapiens are:

    1)  Sapience (self-awareness)

    2)  Manual Dexterity

    3)  Bi-pedalism

  5. I have got to say I disagree on the Abe Lincoln, sure he "freed the slaves", but what about all the other people from European countries that did the same thing decades earlier. Ronald Reagan? That just seems like an utterly retarded answer.

  6. When I read this question I was wondering if you were asking what makes homo sapiens different from other species. I guess that is the anthropologist in me!! Anyway if that isn't the question just ignore my answer. There are a few things that differentiate homo sapiens from other species. The two that are the easiest to see is the ability to speak and of course bipedalism (the ability to walk on two legs). The one significance that is the most extraordinary is the brain. The human brain has the ability to think rationally, use complex reasoning to find solutions to problems, the ability to create and the ability to learn. Those to me are the three most significant features that separate homo sapiens from other species.

  7. President Abraham Lincoln, Jonas Salk, and Oprah Winfrey

  8. Me, myself and I.
