Offer employees the option of telecommuting.

Offer employees the option of a 4 day work week.

Offer employees incentives, awards, and bonuses for innovative energy saving ideas.

Effective resource management (power/water/land/waste), compliance with ISO standards with regards to consumption or what ever the local H&S grading for the area is. 1st point can be split into numerous otehrs.

Offer employees interest free loans for pedal cycle purchase or for the purchase of annual tickets for public transport journeys to work.

Encourage recycling.

Encourage the switching off of lights, computers, printers and copiers after work.  On this last point I have found that printers and copiers are often shared and, in consequence, nobody thinks to switch them off.  Workers need to be made aware of this so they can overcome it.

Most are doing everything they can to reduce there power costs. Doing much more that the general public. Industry only produces a relatively small percentage (about 15% even if you include commercial buildings) of the pollution.
