  1. Here's three ...

    1. A guy going off to find a bride. - Like in Jason and the Argonauts, he gets Medea in the process

    2. Some foreign guy comes along and kidnaps a woman - Helen of Troy, Europa, Io

    3. Cattle theiving - Hermes, Hercules

  2. Loss

    Search for truth/love

    war/battle to win knowledge/love

    death of ideals

rebirth to new understanding or reunited love.

  3. Good Lord, have you read ANY Greek Mythology at ALL?  There isn't a bit of it that doesn't involve love and/or adventure!  It's the original Batman, Superman, Spiderman (in the realm of the deep ocean), there is greed, promise of faithfulness, lust, the love of women that brings gods to destroy each other, each others children, vengence by the women involving amazingly intricate trickery, jeepers.  and more and more and more.

    Once, upon a time....

    there was jealousy.

    and competition.

and the ulitmate desire for power and position.

And after all was said and done (or was it done after all?), there was ruination.

Much like there has been ever since.

So I guess the answer to the question is really the 7 deadly sins.

    3 The sins

    3.1 Lust (Latin, luxuria)

    3.2 Gluttony (Latin, gula)

    3.3 Greed (Latin, avaritia)

    3.4 Sloth (Latin, acedia)

    3.5 Wrath (Latin, ira)

    3.6 Envy (Latin, invidia)

    3.7 Pride (Latin, superbia)

    Imagine that....
