  1. Hi ...well I could say many but let us see:

1- Culture: maybe only place  where Muslims, Jews and Christians lived together in harmony and created a common culture. Beside the inmense amount of Cultures (Iberians, Celts, Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginesian,  Romans, Goths, Francs, Vandals, Arab, Magrebis, African,) that left their inprints in Spain in the form of Roads, castles, temples, villages, languages and scripture palaces. monuments, dances, arquitecture not counting some of the best Museums of the world, Prado, Picasso, Dali museums etc etc and not only old things also most modern designs, Seville, Valencia Barcelona, Madrid

2 - Beauty and Activities -Geography and topography: The Spanish landscape and climatology permits you to pass from beautiful wet Green pastures to sandy Dessert, magnific Ski Resorts and excellent Beaches in less than a couple of hours drive. Also the roads adn traveñl infrastructure, transport hotels etc are cheap, numerous, diverse and great. You can swim, ski, water ski, horse ride, scubba dive, visit places etcand practice endless activities

3 - Diversity: In one same country you can visit areas so differnt in culture and other things that you can find 6 or 7 languages. Although officially only 4 are recogniced as languages this is a fascist conception since Valencian, Balear, Aranés, Asturiano etc are languages and not dialects as some fascist nationalities want to make others think.

4 - The food. From Mountain, stews, steaks, lambs, pigs to freh fish and crabs from two different seas, Atlantic, Mediterranean, Cantbric albeit the microfauna of the differnt Fjords and estuaries. Also Spain is the largest exporter and supplier of fruits and vegetables to all Europe and other many places. You can find also restautrants from all nations and typoes from Vegetarian, Kosher to Halal.

5 - People  Fiestas & Infrastructure- The people are quite tolerant, open in general, fun and loive good feasts and parties. Spain is one of the countries with a larger number of Feast and vacations of the world. Whole regions and areas stop every activity but partying during several days. You can find every tipe and in evry area. Also the infrastructure, way of partying, and tolerance for parties is uncommon. Bars, Pubs, Disco, Concerts, Outside fairs, fleamarkets shops etc

This are just some intersting facts... but there are many, many, many more as interesting, for you and others to discover.

  2. Try Barcelona - Most visitors stay in or near the Ramblas  or in the Gothic Quarter just to the east. This is a good base from where you can explore the city's sights by day including Gaudi's masterpiece, the unfinished Sagrada Família Cathedral, and Parc Güell in the north. Or maybe visit the 98,000 seater Nou Camp stadium the home of Barcelona football club. See http://www.spain4uk.co.uk/places/barcelo... for more details.
