  1. Born: 27th Aug,1908 at Cootamundra, NSW.

    1928-1929 AUS v ENG: Don played for the first time in test match series against England as a replacement. He played 4 matches, scored 468 runs in 7 innings for an average of 69.

    1931-1932 AUS v SAF: Don's form was unbelievable. He played 5 matches, scored 806 runs in 4 innings at an average of 202.

    1948 ENG v AUS: Don's last series. He played 5 test matches, scored 508 runs in 7 innings at an average of over 72. He took retirement from test match cricket after this series. Retired as the greatest test match player of all time scoring 6,996 runs in 52 tests, 70 innings for an average of 99.94. A standard that has not been surpassed by any human being till now.

    Died: Feb,25, 2001: Don died at Kensington Park, Adelaide, NSW, A letter addressed to Donald Bradman did not need an address. His name was enough.
